Photogrammetry
From aerial and ground imagery we create scaled 3D models, orthophotos and terrain models. The method is a fast and economical way to survey large areas and façades.
A 3D model from photographs
Photogrammetry is a method in which a scaled three-dimensional model of an object is built from a large number of overlapping photographs. We take the images with a drone from the air or with a camera from the ground, and after processing we obtain a point cloud, a textured 3D model, an orthophoto plan and a terrain model.
Where it is used
- Surveying large areas, quarries and landfills and calculating volumes;
- Recording building façades and roofs, including hard-to-reach places;
- Documenting construction progress and comparing it against the design;
- Producing clear visual material for presentations and approvals.
Compared with conventional surveying, photogrammetry is a faster and more economical solution for large areas, and it can be combined with laser scanning wherever higher accuracy is required.
