What are environmental permits?
Environmental permit or polluting activity permit is a document that is issued by the Regional Environmental Board of the State Environmental Service. The companies that perform economic activity, which results in the pollution of the environment, need to receive polluting activity permits. They are divided depending on environmental pollution risks, which are determined by the regulatory enactments.
Legal requirements
To receive a permit, a detailed application on all environmental pollution factors, which may arise as a result of the economic activity of the company, needs to be prepared.
Classification of polluting activities by category:
A – companies with high production power and high risk of environmental pollution.
B – companies with medium production power and moderate risk of environmental pollution.
C – small companies with low operational power and low risk of environmental pollution.
