Hofdi Lodge Hotel, Iceland

In a small Icelandic village located on the coast of the Eyjafjörður fjord, in cooperation with the Latvian-based company Nordic Homes, there was an exciting opportunity to participate in the recording of the construction process of an exclusive hotel by performing 3D laser scanning of the concrete constructions in order to determine the quality of the construction and to eliminate possible defects in time, ensuring the quality assembly of finished panels.

By attaching the point cloud to the real coordinates, it is possible to easily and conveniently insert it into the REVIT modeling program and make a comparison of the project model and the actually built volume.
